At SIP at the Signal Box, our mission is to create an inviting space where you can enjoy great coffee and a bite to eat.
From organic teas, to vibrant matcha. Warming chai to luxurious hot chocolate. We have a range of hot drinks to suit everyone. But the cornerstone of our hot drink offering is our amazing coffee.
Supplied by the awesome team at Garage Coffee Roasters in Canterbury. Our house coffee is speciality grade, ethically farmed and processed. Then carefully roasted and brewed to achieve the best possible flavour.

The harbour views are unrivaled here and perfect for a spot of people watching. Or you can grab a takeaway for your walk along the Harbour Arm and Folkestone beach boardwalk.
Please note our outside terrace seating area is currently closed as we have some exciting building work happening. This will transform the space into additional inside seating and will allow us to seat more people, whatever the weather.

We bring our passion for quality food and fresh local produce to offer some delicious brunch, lunch and afternoon snack options.
Only the best ingredients go into our sandwiches and each one is made-to-order on soft white or granary farmhouse bread, handmade by expert bakers at Gilda in Bishopsbourne.

The iconic signal box building
Come inside to see the original levers that controlled the crossing of trains in and out of Folkestone Harbour Station dating back to 1915. Fully viewable and accessible, the levers are the centrepiece of the room.
Enjoy your drink or bite to eat surrounded by the nostalgia of the past in this historic location. We hope to marry together a celebration of the sites history with a modern and welcoming coffee shop vibe.
Each seat inside SIP offers views over the boats in harbour, out to sea with the cliffs of Dover in the distance or along the beautifully restored station platform.
